Are you Prepared for an Emergency? Presentation by Dr. Jeff Donaldson

February 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Dr. Jeff Donalson is a proud resident of Bridlewood, veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and professor of Disaster and Emergency Management. He is the voice of a global
emergency preparedness podcast, Inside My Canoehead and the Principal Researcher at Preparedness Labs Incorporated, one of Canada’s leading preparedness education and research
firms. Professionally, he has worked with numerous provincial and municipal emergency management organizations to improve the design and delivery of public sector resident-facing
emergency preparedness communications.

“Residents in Bridlewood are facing emergencies on a more frequent basis. There are no doubts recent events like the derecho in 2022 are the result of an increasingly unstable climate,
and clearly demonstrate the need for Bridlewood to be prepared for any similar events or other risks in the future,” says Erin Coffin, President of the BCA. “We are happy are proud to have
Jeff, a neighbour, joining us for an evening to share his vast wealth of knowledge and experiencein the run up to this year’s Emergency Preparedness Week.”

Join the Bridlewood Community Association when Dr. Jeff Donaldson speaks on emergency preparedness from non-apocalyptic evidence based educational foundation on the
evening of Tuesday February 2025 at the Eva James Memorial Community Center, 65 Stonehaven Dr., Kanata, ON K2K 1A1.
