Bridlewood OUTDOOR RinkS
UPDATE – LOOKING FOR winter 2023-24 VOLUNTEERS

Did you know that your neighbours volunteer and run nine community ice rinks in Bridlewood?

The BCA has a contract with the City of Ottawa to prepare and maintain all the rinks in Bridlewood.

We are hoping for a better winter allowing for the ice to set well – and if so we are also expecting the rinks will be heavily used during this winter season and we hope that more volunteers will step forward to help out.

We have outdoor ice rinks at each of the following locations and they need your help (and starting soon!):

Laura Dubois Park, Mattawa Park, Brian Parsons Park, Bluegrass Park, Huntsman Park, Meadowbreeze Park (Chris Neil Rink), Sawyer’s Meadow Park, Scisson’s Park, and Stonemeadow Park

BCA rink coordinators are once again looking for volunteers to help out with the maintenance of the Bridlewood rinks during the 2023-24 winter season.

Send an email to pres@bridlewood.ca with the subject “I WANT TO MAKE ICE AT (YOUR PARK HERE)!” and we will forward your email to the correct rink coordinator.

Thank you to all who make these ice rinks amazing for our neighbours and families every year!

Thank you
