For over 35 years the Bridlewood Community Association (BCA) has been working to make Bridlewood an even greater place to live, work and play.
We are involved in development issues, park design (including the Splash Pad) and development, winter rinks expansion and maintenance, sports programs and safety issues. We also assist local schools with grants, donations, awards and support playground development.
All of this is accomplished with your supporting membership and the dedication of volunteers. We are a group of energetic, dynamic, dedicated residents – your neighbours – who would like to get to know you and your concerns better. Contact us. What are your thoughts, priorities, and visions for Bridlewood?
All residents are de facto regular members of the BCA and can voice opinions and concerns, and vote at meetings. And your voice is so important to us!
Supporting members take it to the next level. They get added benefits for the supporting membership fee of just $10 per home for the calendar year, including:
- supporting the BCA and strengthening our voice with the City and developers
- Eligibility to participate in
March Break Family Movie Night (free for supporting members)
Spring Sports program (you must be a supporting member to register children in this program)
Annual member and volunteer BBQ (free for supporting members)
- regular updates on what is occurring in your neighbourhood such as development, parks planning, sports programs, meeting updates and more
- opportunities to have your concerns and ideas heard by City officials and your neighbours
To become a member fill in the on-line form, contact your street rep, join in person at a meeting (third Tuesday of every month), or complete and mail the new member form. All new members will automatically be subscribed to our BCA Monthly Email program and will receive an email asking them to confirm their subscription. Members may unsubscribe from that list at any time.
